Sickle Cell 5000 is an annual event to increase awareness of Sickle Cell Disease and Sickle Cell trait. Cortney Vega Sport Athletic Foundation, Sickle Cell Miami Foundation, and System Miami, Inc., have partnered to raise funds, awareness, and celebrate those children living with sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait.
