Private Event!

The 7th Annual 5K Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at the Zoo Miami. Whether on the warm-blooded mammal team or the cold-blooded reptile team, go wild and thrive at this year’s race. As the sun rises, watch the animals wake up throughout your run and later visit them as you enjoy all the offerings and celebrate our County workforce at the Family Fun Day and Picnic event. 

This event is open to all ages and fitness levels, experienced runners will begin the 5K run at 7 a.m. They will be followed by the general race at 7:30 a.m. The course will follow along the path as you see the animals wake up to a new day. At the completion of the run/walk, employees and their families will have refreshments, activities and entertainment until 1 pm.

Register by October 14th. No tickets will be available on event day.

*T-shirt sizing and complete race day packet cannot be guaranteed to those who register after September 22.
