Come join us at the first annual race in Palm Beach County celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join hundreds of other like-minded people as we pursue Dr. King’s dream of equality, particular in health and economics, in what promises to be the most diverse athletic event in Palm Beach County. Taking place just prior the start of the MLK Day Parade in Riviera Beach, this event has something for everyone including kids races, 1-mile, 5k and 10k races as well as an aerobics class for seniors.  Participants, sponsors and exhibitors will be joining resources to share their passions to end racism, improve health outcomes and support small local minority-owned businesses.

A portion of proceeds from this event will be used to offset the costs for participants looking to improve their health, but are not able cover the full costs of registration.  Net proceeds also help provide educational programs as well as other resources to  small minority-owned businesses in Palm Beach County through the efforts of the volunteers of two nonprofit organizations, the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and the Equity Entrepreneur Center.  We invite you to visit the Black Chamber of Palm Beach County’s website at www.blackchamberpbc.com.
